Shelter, communication, and climate control sit inside the hydric field the open call names: sea, sky, myth, and the architecture that refuses to leave them untouched. The photograph does not invent Hydra; it records how the white already lives on it.

Title: ὕδρα — WATER
Artist: RockinFREEWorld
Bio: Inspired by the Ancient Greek word ὕδρα — water — this work explores water as force, movement, reflection, transformation and possibility. A monumental figure emerges through an electric Aegean world where sea and sky begin to lose their boundaries. Deep cobalt, ultramarine and cyan move through her like water itself, while the ocean reflected in her lenses fractures into a brilliant spectrum of color. Behind her, an enormous lunar form and precise geometric structures collide with the organic violence of the sea. The imagery moves between ancient and future without fully belonging to either. Water becomes hair, atmosphere, energy and portal. The familiar blue-and-white visual spirit of Greece is pushed beyond the expected into something psychedelic, cosmic and alive. Created in my RockinFREEWorld aesthetic, the work collides 1960s modernism, Bauhaus and Op Art geometry, psychedelic color, mixed-media texture and AI. I am interested in what happens when visual languages from different periods are pulled out of their original contexts and allowed to collide. ὕδρα was created for HYDRA BLUE 2.0, inspired by water and the many shades of blue — from sea & sky to dreams & mythology, and the iconic blue-and-white spirit of Greece.

Title: ὄνειρος — DREAM
Artist: RockinFREEWorld
Bio: ὄνειρος — the Ancient Greek word for dream — explores the moment the visible world gives way to the subconscious. A solitary figure appears suspended between ocean, sky and inner space. Her eyes are closed, yet water erupts upward from them in impossible vertical currents, opening into an Aegean horizon and a radiant sky. Gravity has stopped behaving normally. The landscape exists both outside her and within her. Blue remains the gravitational center of the work — cobalt, ultramarine, cyan and midnight tones — but it is invaded by molten orange, magenta, violet and gold. Psychedelic currents move through celestial geometry while circles become planets, portals and shifting points of perception. A monumental crescent cuts through the composition, hovering somewhere between moon, symbol and pure geometric form. The work moves deliberately between serenity and sensory overload. Water becomes thought. Horizon becomes memory. Color becomes dream. Created through my RockinFREEWorld aesthetic, ὄνειρος combines 1960s modernism, Bauhaus and Op Art geometry, psychedelic color, mixed-media texture and AI to build a visual language that is simultaneously analog, digital, nostalgic and future-facing. ὄνειρος was created for HYDRA BLUE 2.0, inspired by water and the many shades of blue — from sea & sky to dreams & mythology, and the iconic blue-and-white spirit of Greece.

One night, when the weight of the world became too heavy, she walked into the sea.Not to disappear but to remember herself. The dolphins circled around her like ancient guardians, guiding her deeper into silence

Title: "An Odyssey in Hyder Blue"
Artist: Jinous
Bio: Beneath the full moon's quiet eye, a woman set out across the wine-dark sea. She carried no name, only flowers in her hair — mementos of a shore she could not forget. The waves rose and fell like the breath of an old god, and two white birds kept watch above her mast, guiding her course. She did not sail to find a place. She sailed to find herself. The blue stretched endlessly, deep as memory, and in its depths the sea seemed to whisper her name — the one she had lost,...

Title: The Same Blue
Artist: NARI (나리)
Bio: Korea and Greece never met, yet they wrote their whiteness in the same blue. The cobalt that Joseon painters brushed onto white porcelain and the blue of the Aegean — on shutters, on hulls, on the water — are two lives of one pigment. Experienced in augmented reality on Hydra, the cobalt flows out of the frame toward the real Aegean behind the viewer — and the island completes the work.

Title: "Toward the Surface"
Artist: Vasiawow
Bio: "Toward the Surface" began with the feeling of being close to escape, but not there yet. A solitary figure stands inside a submerged architectural space, looking toward the light above while a shark moves through the blue overhead. For me, the water is more than the setting. It carries pressure, silence, and uncertainty. The surface is visible, almost within reach, but the distance still matters. The work holds that suspended moment when fear has not disappeared, yet something inside has alre

Title: we remember our sea moment
Artist: ake
Bio: We remember the sea not as stillness, but as movement: those majestic waves, like frames from a movie we’ve all experienced but can’t quite place. The salt, the wind, and the silence before the wave breaks—a moment that repeats itself endlessly in the gallery of our mind.

Title: A Memory in Blue
Artist: Beanie Blossom
Bio: For this piece I used the strong blue and white contrast to focus on the feeling of Hydra rather than showing it in a very literal way. The church, the flowers and the deep blue give it that Greek atmosphere, but at the same time it feels a bit like an old memory or a moment from the past. I liked the idea of using blue not just as the colour of the image, but as the mood of it too.
